The Autumn Exhibition at Sea Pictures Gallery in Well Lane, Clare begins on Thursday 9th September and runs until Monday 11th October. The exhibition features the work of the Young Marine Artist of the Year - Michael Sole - alongside work from members of the major marine painting societies in the UK. There is work by several members of the RSMA including the current President, David Howell. Work from members of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists as well as Tessa Spencer-Pryse and James Dodds. A true feast of marine art.

The Tour of Britain annual elite cycling race stage 7 will be coming to Suffolk on 17 September 2010 and is considered to be one of the cornerstones of the UK sporting calender and the country's biggest cycling event. The race will start in Bury St Edmunds at 10.15 am and will be passing through Suffolk towns including Clare between 11.00 am to 11.25 am. Come out and celebrate this prestige carnival atmosphere event which will be shown on ITV 4 each night between 7.00 - 8.00 pm. The cyclists will consist of 17 teams from ten different countries, 5 British teams, 8 Tour De France teams, 100 riders and 8 medalists from Beijing Olympics. The aim of the COFFEE STOP is to provide a comprehensive information service for local people of all ages.
