The Tour of Britain annual elite cycling race stage 7 will be coming to Suffolk on 17 September 2010 and is considered to be one of the cornerstones of the UK sporting calender and the country's biggest cycling event.
The race will start in Bury St Edmunds at 10.15 am and will be passing through Suffolk towns including Clare between 11.00 am to 11.25 am.
Come out and celebrate this prestige carnival atmosphere event which will be shown on ITV 4 each night between 7.00 - 8.00 pm. The cyclists will consist of 17 teams from ten different countries, 5 British teams, 8 Tour De France teams, 100 riders and 8 medalists from Beijing Olympics.

The aim of the COFFEE STOP is to provide a comprehensive information service for local people of all ages. At the same time, there will be FREE REFRESHMENTS available, a friendly welcome and the opportunity to MEET with other people in your community who you might not see on a regular basis. Representatives from local and national voluntary organisations will be present to give information about the services they offer.
In addition a Citizens Advice Bureau representative will be available in the Committee Room between 10.00am and 12 noon.

All three are former members of legendary progressive blues outfit The Groundhogs, appearing in several albums and touring throughout UK and Europe over many years.
Alan's credentials also include playing with members of Welsh heavy rock pioneers Budgie in the band Tredegar, two albums for ex-Bo Diddley harp player Billy Boy Arnold, and a European tour for Chuck Berry among other things.
Latest CD Midnight Sun out on Blues Matters Records. They have a new CD due out soon on Stable Records and are currently gigging in the UK and Europe.
